Tales of The Traveling Sword
Centered Breath Monk, Githzerai, Wanderer
Durza and his brother Dak’kon were born into the Wai Tsung Nizh, and lived in The Monastery of Chudaiga. Dak’kon raised Durza as they’re parents both died shortly after Durza’s birth. Durza loved Dak’kon and looked up to him as a role model. When Durza was 10 his brother, then 22, left the monastery with no explanation of where he had gone. The elders forbade him from searching for Dak’kon and Durza never found out why. He left the monastery anyway shortly after he was forbade to search for his brother. He has walked the land for the past 40 years searching and honing his abilities in unarmed combat. Durza has not found even the slightest trace of his brother up to this point but he still looks for him. Durza has become accustomed to life on the road and has become obsessed with preserving his own personal freedom. He has only agreed to join the sword because it has become clear that Durza will never find Dak’kon on his own. Durza also wants to find a greater purpose. He wants to be remembered and wants to be the cause of a large change in the world whether it is for good or evil. He does not care which. He also wants to share the wisdom he has gained from his travels and wants to help young people find were they belong even through he has not found it himself. Durza is very sound of mind and once he has decided something it is hard to sway him from it. He is very calm and calculating and will withhold information if it does not benefit him at the given time. He is cynical and slow to trust but once you have earned it he is with you through thick and thin. He speaks in a monotone voice and rarely shows his emotions unless something is really bothering him.
